Founded in 1981, Polar Systems, Inc. has one of the largest installed bases of local and wide area networks in Oregon and southwest Washington, and our diverse client list includes many of the best-known companies and non-profit agencies in the area. Polar Systems is also one of a small, select group of Cisco Premier Partners who are certified as “VPN/Security Specialists.” In addition to our network services, we offer software integration and development, specializing in financial and accounting solutions for business and non-profit organizations.
In 1993, Charlie Tragesser purchased Polar Systems following a successful twenty-two year career in sales, marketing and general management with the IBM Corporation. He transitioned Polar Systems from a product company that sold services to a consulting services company that sells products.
Today, our solutions range from network administration to high-level risk assessment and security policy development. Our team of highly trained and certified network engineers and business consultants include experts in infrastructure, security, communications, data storage, remote computing, disaster recovery, recurring administration, monitoring and software applications.
